Letters from DCAC Students
DCAC,
You mean the world to me. Every time I come here, I feel at home, loved, and wanted (in a good way). You inspire me to do my art work and show it even if it’s ugly (but no art is ugly). You let me be free to express myself in a positive way.
Thank you for everything.

Dear DCAC,
When I’m at DCAC, it makes me feel comfortable. When everybody surrounds me it makes me feel nice, but I’ll get used to it. I enjoy doing activities with everybody. I’ve been here for like four to five Saturdays already….ummm….and I’ve made a couple of friends while I’m here.

Dear DCAC,
DCAC is a healthy outlet to express our feelings; its fun and a great program. DCAC lets us open up artistically. Everyone here is nice and makes every student feel warm and welcome. Walking into the studio, you automatically know you can be whoever you want to be and no one will judge you. Everyone here is encouraging and inspirational. Thank you DCAC for giving me something to look forward to every other weekend.

Dear DCAC,
Thank you for a wonderful, fun, and creative place to exhibit my talents freely. I really appreciate that you have encouraged individuality in me and others. I have had fun and always look forward to coming here. The people are nice and they seem to understand my feelings in some way. Like, they encourage feelings as a source of artistic inspiration…and they are right! Thanks for the memories!
Sincerely, M. (DCAC Student)
